Santa and the elves made the last two deliveries yesterday to wrap up this holiday season!
We were pleasantly surprised when we met at History Makers Church and they asked Santa to go into the daycare and greet all of the children. They had about 15 children in school yesterday ranging from 6 months to 5 years. Santa’s first stop in the toddler room did not go well as most of the children burst into tears and ran when they saw Santa and none of them wanted anything to do with Santa and his gifts. Things were much smoother in the older children’s room as the kids burst into laughter and joy as Santa handed out presents and candy canes to all of them. And they were all eager to crawl in his lap and take pictures.
Our deliveries to the two last families went very well and we were greeted with graciousness and humbleness. One of the families with four children had recently moved from Venezuela with absolutely nothing. While we were there to help them, they insisted that we each try a piece of candy from Venezuela (and it received rave reviews!).
We can’t thank all of you enough for your generosity throughout the years. Without you, none of this would be possible.
