14th Annual Secret Santa is Up & Running!
Hello Secret Santa Friends and Family,
As we enter this beautiful season of giving, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated. Your kindness is already making Christmas brighter for families who truly need a little extra magic this year.
We are excited to share that we have officially identified the six families we’ll be blessing this Christmas season. Together, they include 20 family members, 13 of them children, and we cannot wait to bring joy, warmth and hope into their homes.
Our Amazon Wish List is now open and we are welcoming both Wish List gifts and cash donations. With the challenges many families are facing in today’s economy, several parents have asked for help with gift cards or bill assistance and a few of our teenagers prefer gift cards so they can choose their own styles (as all parents can relate! 🤣).
Thanks to your generosity, we have already purchased a full holiday meal for every family (about $100 per family by catching every sale we could find!). We are now working on providing Christmas trees (Walmart has them on sale for $50), stockings, books, additional gifts for neighborhood children, and Target and Walmart gift cards. There are currently 49 items totaling $1,606 on the Wish List that need to be purchased and we still need to add some other items for families.
We wanted to share this sweet wishlist from one of the children, a reminder of just how much your support means. These simple hopes and heartfelt wishes warm our hearts, and we feel blessed to help make them come true.
Thank you again for being part of this village. Your kindness, your generosity and your holiday spirit are what make Secret Santa Over Atlanta possible. We truly couldn’t do this without you. Please take just a minute from your busy day to donate or browse the Wish List and impact the lives of children and families in need this year. We are requesting that all donations be sent by December 1st.
To donate, please visit our website at www.secretsantaoveratlanta.com, Venmo to @Lydia-Whitner, or click on this link for the Amazon Wish List https://a.co/3me9gCF (you may have to copy and paste into your browser).
With Christmas joy and warmest thanks,
Santa & Mrs. Claus
