Santa's Season Has Begun!
Hello Secret Santa Friends and Family!
Even though it’s only October, it’s that time again! Santa and the elves unpacked their gear and headed out to the 16th Annual Winship 5K Run/Walk on October 3rd. It was a gloomy morning but that couldn’t stop Santa’s team and the day turned out to be perfect for the 4,000+ participants who raised over $1.1m for cancer research.
As in typical Secret Santa fashion, we are always trying to improve so this year we added Christmas music to cheer on the runners and walkers as we handed out candy canes. It was such a delight to hear one of the participants say “Station 8 has it going on!” and know that we were making a difference.
We have attached a video for your enjoyment so you can see how far your donations reach – from families in need to cancer research!
Secret Santa over Atlanta will kick off in about 5 weeks and we will be in need of your annual donations, but for now we are asking that you please donate to this important research. To date, this race has raised over $12 million towards cancer research but they are still in need. And, as we always say, the smallest donation helps. Please take the time to donate here: https://winshipcancer.emory.edu/give/ways-to-give.php
And we have some exciting news – Secret Santa Over Atlanta is now a 501C3!
With much love and gratitude,
Santa and Mrs. Claus
